What the role involves
- Designing, building and operating network infrastructure at scale
- Handling migrations and change under production load
- Troubleshooting incidents across a network you may not have designed
- Increasingly, connecting on-premises networks to cloud environments
What we look for
- Systems you have operated and problems you have actually resolved
- Certification as a qualifying filter, with practical experience behind it
- Exposure to cloud interconnect or network security is increasingly expected
- Judgement about when to fix quickly and when to fix properly
