Market view
Physical product punishes a slow hire
Software ships every week; hardware ships when the board is right. A missed hire on an electronics team does not slip a sprint, it slips a certification window, a production slot or a vehicle programme, and the cost compounds through tooling and time to market. Hardware searches carry more urgency than headcount plans usually admit.
The pool is small and specific. An engineer who has taken an RF design through EMC compliance, or a sensor through automotive qualification, is one of a few hundred people in the country, and almost none of them answer adverts.
