What the role involves
- Building and maintaining the pipelines the business reports on
- Owning data quality, lineage and reliability rather than just throughput
- Working with analysts and scientists as internal customers
- Managing the platform and its cost, not only the code
What we look for
- Strong engineering fundamentals, since this is a software role
- Experience with a modern warehouse or lakehouse platform in production
- Evidence of improving reliability or cost, ideally both
- Patience with stakeholders whose requirements change
