They are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data Science team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy production-grade recommendation systems, taking ownership of the full machine learning lifecycle from research and experimentation through to deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale recommendation and relevance models for production environments. Own the complete machine learning lifecycle, including feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Build high-performance, low-latency machine learning systems capable of handling billions of daily predictions. Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production platforms. Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model performance and business impact. Analyse large datasets to identify opportunities for improving recommendation quality and system performance. Contribute to scalable machine learning infrastructure and engineering best practices. Candidate Requirements 5+ years' experience building and deploying production machine learning or recommendation systems. Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience developing scalable machine learning systems within high-volume environments such as AdTech, e-commerce, search, or recommendation platforms. Strong software engineering skills with the ability to write production-quality code. Experience designing and evaluating online experiments and A/B testing. Knowledge of distributed data processing technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Kafka would be advantageous. Experience working with cloud data platforms and large-scale data storage solutions is desirable.
