Our client is a leading global technology company specialising in mobile app growth and monetisation. Their platform serves hundreds of millions of users annually, delivering high-performance advertising technology through large-scale, real-time distributed systems.
They are looking for an experienced Platform / DevOps Engineer to join their Cloud Engineering team. This team is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising the cloud infrastructure that underpins the organisation's applications, data platforms, machine learning pipelines, and customer-facing services.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure supporting large-scale production environments. Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads across distributed systems. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Support event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka and distributed messaging systems. Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient software delivery. Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with engineering teams to support backend services, data platforms, and production applications. Evaluate and implement open-source technologies while contributing to a cloud-agnostic infrastructure strategy.
Candidate Requirements At least 3 years' experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Solid knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS. Proven experience managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Experience supporting microservices and event-driven architectures. Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and automation. Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Elasticsearch, Grafana, or Prometheus would be advantageous. Passion for building scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
