Their technology connects advertisers and publishers via Android and iOS SDK integrations, delivering real-time ad decisions in under 200 milliseconds for millions of daily users using advanced machine learning and real-time bidding algorithms.
Their Data Science team owns the end-to-end bidding and recommendation pipeline, including conversion prediction, user quality estimation, and bid optimisation. The platform processes tens of billions of machine learning predictions each day, trained on large-scale behavioural data captured from mobile applications.
The engineering environment leverages modern machine learning and big data technologies, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Airflow, Ray, Trino, Athena, Spark, Kafka, Flink, AWS, and large-scale data lake architectures. The team is responsible for the full machine learning lifecycle, from research and experimentation through to deployment and low-latency production inference.
They are seeking an experienced Data Science Leader to manage a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts while remaining highly hands-on (approximately 50% technical contribution).
The successful candidate will have proven experience leading data science teams, building and deploying production machine learning solutions, and developing recommender systems and deep learning models at scale. Strong Python skills, experience with large-scale distributed data platforms and MLOps, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value are essential.
